I am on a PAYG monthly contract & i don`t intend on paying this price rise that`s coming.
When can i cancel ,i have been here about 2-3 years

There's no price rise for PAYG. You don't cancel PAYG; you just stop using your PAYG SIM any time you want.

Maybe at cross wires here, i should have said i have 4GEE WIFI router for my BB which i pay on a rolling monthly contract.
There is a price rise at near the end of march & i need to know if i have to give any notice that i will be leaving.

If it's a rolling 30 day contract, then as I understand USUALLY you give a minimum of 1 month's notice.
I.e If you advised EE you wish to cancel, you would make 1 more monthly payment (assuming you had paid your bill for the current month just elapsed). So come April you would not have to pay any further.

You need to contact EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your mobile contract.

My bill is always due on the 18th of every month,so i think i would have to pay on March 18th?.

Hi @jockwav1,
Yes, any bills raised during your notice period would taken as usual.
Once your line has been cancelled, you'll receive a final bill which would include a credit for any line rental you paid in advance but didn't use.
Find out more in What happens to my phone bills if I leave EE?
Hope this helps.
