4gee contract missold

When I took out a contract last year to replace my BT mini router contract I was assured the terms were the same just a little more expensive with more data. Tried to use it abroad last month to be messaged that there is a roaming charge. Wrong on all levels as there was no such charge with BT.

Hi
Wasn’t really looking for a conversation. I know what was sold to me and I didn’t get it.
Hence the ‘missold’ heading.
Impossible to find my contract online.
Really angry, not helped by the glib reply.

@jovialmark  roaming Isn’t contractual, it’s optional so it doesn’t form part of the contract.  If you agree to roam you agree to the T&Cs of roaming.   If you had inquired if you could use the product abroad at the point of sale you’ll been given the information that you needed to know.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I am certain you mean enquired, which I did and was told the add on was added as an option and was as per my previous contract.

At no point have I said or implied that I thought that the roaming was included in the contract.

Being blunt to the point of being rude isn't helpful.

@jovialmark   Yes you did

“Tried to use it abroad last month to be messaged that there is a roaming charge. Wrong on all levels as there was no such charge with BT.”

So you would rather have a long winded answer giving you the same result as oppose to an answer that’s straight to the point.    Ok.  Personally I prefer the short answer without going round the houses just to have the question answered.
