I have a new EE mobile wifi device (on two years contract, 25GB data). I use it in my shop to connect my security cameras and Point of Sales (Zettle card reader) unit. Everything has been working great for two weeks without problem: no wifi or internet drop at all. Two days ago my system stopped working i.e. cant use my card reader or my security camera. Disaster! If I connect the unit to my laptop (in my shop) via 192.168.1.1 everything is fine - a solid aqua LED i.e. i get a great internet connection to my laptop. The other devices are fine on another wifi connection (not EE).
What can be going wrong? The firmware is up-to-date V01.05

Helllo James, yes, I can connect to the Mifi unit with my laptop and use its data.
I have now returned the Mifi unit to my home. Last night I connected my EE phones to the MIfi unit (instead of using the usual EE router for Wi-Fi). Both phones connected ok and I could use the Mifi data. However upon trying to use my phone it has disconnected from the Mifi unit. The Mifi unit was flashing orange. It reset ok and has been working ok all day.
However I cannot rely on the Mifi that may have to be reset if it drops-out! As I say, it was bought to work in my remote shop for security (Blink cameras) and card reader (zettle). I need to monitor the cameras all day and randomly at night.

Hi @Phil22222.
Thanks for providing the data log, I understand how important it is to get this working for your shop.
I am unaware what could be causing this.
Have you been able to report this to our technical care team?

Hi I have a similar issue, the mifi jas stopped working all of a sudden and all lights r flashing blue. It is normally left on with a constant power supply attached.

Sorry to hear that. EE eventually replaced my Mifi unit for a new one which still ‘drops-out’ for no reason every two weeks. I reset it and it starts again. I keep mine powered on most of the time but do disconnect to let it work on its own to discharge the battery once a week.
In my view it is a cheap and not very reliable product. I hope EE find a solution for you.

Hi @Mo186
Flashing blue - WPS is active. When the WPS button is pressed, the light on your hub will flash blue.
This means it's waiting for you to press the WPS button on your computer or device that you want to connect. If it's flashing red, it didn't connect – give it a couple of minutes and try again.
