@grahamdavey5 : You can try to register it to your MyEE but it's not essential.

You may use your device w/out registering it to MyEE.

  1. Use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no.
  2. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to it by WiFi will tell you your usage.
  3. Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to it by WiFi to buy add-ons.

You can't change its mobile no. to a name within the router's settings. You may however change its WiFi network's SSID to anything you like so you may recognise it from your devices, if that's what you are thinking of.

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then, if the WiFi SSID & password is not also found under the battery cover, on the WiFi Settings tab you should be able to see your WiFi SSID & password in clear & change them if you like.

Thanks will give it a go just waiting for it to charge as guess needs to be on for me to do anything 🙂

You should still be able to use it while it is on charge over USB. You may certainly access its settings.
