Hi . I have a 4GEE WIFI device and money to add data to it but have yet to find a link on the webpage to buy data, I have always gone via message on Twitter but my request has not been answered after 24 hours waiting for a reply

Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Sorry but that links tells you to turn off WiFi and that means no connection available

It's only talking about the WiFi of the device the SIM is actually in, i.e. the mobile router which is connected not by WiFi but by mobile signal to the mobile network.
It should work as :
Browsing device > WiFi > mobile router > Mobile network where that link is to be found.
Alternatively, by going to the landing page of the mobile router, you should find a similar link, e.g.:
