I've been using an 4GEE Home Router sim for a couple of years now. I was getting 80Mbps downloads during the day and it would sometimes drop as low as 40Mbps in the early evening, which I assume was to do with load on the network.
Last weekend EE messaged to say they were doing work in our area and after that was completed I now seem to be capped at 40Mbps. My plan says I should get the best speeds available but the speed tester gives a reading of almost exactly 40Mbps the vast majority of the time.
The RSRP, RSRQ and SNR figures are much the same as they have always been (typically -106,-10,11).
Is this just me or are other people finding themselves with reduced speeds?

@Reactor Just in case there have been changes. Link below.

Thanks for replying.
I hadn't realised there was a change to the terms but on reading these new terms it still says I shouldn't be speed capped.
Thanks again.

@Reactor Sorry if you got the impression that i was implying you were speed capped i was not, With all the 5G upgrades that are going on, are you surprised that the 4g is getting less, If you can get above 40mb/s then would suggest your not, but it may be that the new norm will now be 40, as the new norm for 5g is 64 i think. If not then raise a query with EE Tech and have them look at it, some have had success with putting the sim into mobile as a refresh then back into router, worth a try if you can. HTH
