TV/Wifi

I have had ee for 3 months TV and Wifi.

Consistently there have been issues with Wifi and TV boxes I have had engineers out, I have had new wifi and tv boxes yet nothing has worked, they said they would refund me based on the days it has not worked however they have not done this and they close my complaints every time I open one apparently as they haven't heard from me despite me not having a call, email or anything from them. The error I get for none of the TV channels working YVM104 which dosen't even exist on the website apparently...

I am lost for options and with the amount of hours I have put in speaking to so called technicians without a long term fix I am thinking of cancelling the contract and signing with sky or virgin. Anyone else had similar issues and found a fix? I am on last resorts.

@huwrowejones25 : What's wrong with the Broadband & WiFi?

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I dont have any wifi extenders, and the TV just says error then gives the error I mentioned. No apps, No freeview, no channels I pay for... Essentials 500 and big sport

YVM104 is an error code that suggests the box cannot load the service at that moment  A loss or break in internet connection could trigger that error code.

It is documented on Youview and BT support sites so support staff should be aware
