Hello I'm new to ee as I've seen that you guys have some very nice gaming bundles and accessories add ons on your website so that's what i was looking to do. I seen that i need to have a handset contract or a SIM only contract to be able to add on things to my contract. So i go ahead and get a pay monthly contract to go and find out I'm not eligible to add anything onto my contract. So is there a time period or something i need to do before i can add things on? Do i need to wait after the first payment of my contract to come out? Someone please explain.

"All contracts are subject to credit check, if you sign up and your account is eligible you will be able to add a gaming bundle to your account."  ?

Welcome to the community,

You will have to wait until I believe you have been with EE for three months before you can add anything to your contract, as they also need to see that you pay on a regular basis.

If so was this for a device or a SIM plan?

the order was placed on 2nd August and it was for a pay monthly sim yes

All EE customers are assigned an internal credit class which determines the amount of additional products they're able to add to their account. This is determined partially via your initial credit check, but also by the way you manage your account and bills.

As @Schockwave mentioned, sometimes it can take a couple of months for us to establish this, but provided you pay your bills on time this can increase quite quickly. 

If you're on the cusp of being eligible it is sometimes possible for our team to send a credit referral as well, so my best recommendation would be to get in touch with our team so we can say for sure where we're at.
