Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

  • @Atomicdj  EE are saying anything pal no ps has been sent with 2 controllers in the same box as the console since the original ps1.

My tracking still isn’t showing on the DPD app I had to type it in manually, is it because DST gave me my tracking? I have also not received a text or email about the dispatch, just a text just now to say it has now been added to my plan, which it is showing in my account...

 

Does anyone else get this who rang up and was given there tracking number over the phone?

Still time for everyone to get messages from DPD relax lol!

I've already said why if you rang on day one the 19th and they processed your 10 pounds that means your first like mine I did it on the saturday and that's when they class I placed the order so I'm 2 days down the queue doing at 8:21 in morning as apossed to 10:00 doesnt mean anything it's how quick you rang after to get them to process the 10 pounds

Just got a notification from the DPD app the ps5 is being delivered tomorrow 🙂

@Bertie1993 no I asked him on Twitter he confirmed a bundle so there is hope. Also there are no ps5 bundles that come with an extra controller on the box. No where in the world in fact. As if there was it would be something you can buy anywhere but it doesn’t exist. 

problem is there is no official world from EE and the poor CS advisors are overwhelmed by the whole thing

 

poor girl I spoke to early was thankful I wasn’t angry with her which is shocking to hear then she told me I had an Xbox series x pre order not a ps5 which she had to double check lol. Thankfully she confirmed it was a mistake on the other agent she spoke to as they are also getting angry messages about people who have yet to receive the Xbox series x ordered a week earlier. 

So don’t get angry at the agents they are just as anxious and annoyed by the whole situation as we are.

Oh no i think i have **bleep**. Just checked my order email and it says i ordered: PS5 Disc Edition + Additional DualSense Controller | White Does that mean i ordered one with an extra controller?? I didn’t even realise and it wasn’t my intention to, i just assumed it meant the one that came with it. Have a missed out on getting it tomorrow now?

Just spoke to someone re me having a bundle order, said they spoke to the warehouse, who said they're all gone now, next shipment 15th December. Hmm

Looks like it mate. Shafted by EE. Let us pray that the bundles are still being packaged and we will get dispatch notifications later on. I have seen other people online saying they got DPD dispatch notifications up to about 11pm.
