Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

I've ordered at around/just past 10am. Only got add to plan email confirmation with no xko number. 

I've phoned EE on Friday just before 7pm and the lady processed my orded and took £10.

And it's coming tomorrow.

I have just spoken to digital sales and he said yes my order is fine. I told him the £10 hasn’t been taken and that it’s not showing on my EE add ons. He just said oh well it all looks ok here 🤷🏼‍♀️ Arghhhh the suspense is killing me. I will be DONE for Xmas if I get it! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Joeywestham It's embarrassing isn't it! Anyway, for those asking, I ordered at 08:16 the PS5 Disc only version. It's coming tomorrow. Again, delighted with EE who have been amazing with this.

Your right @astonavfc my wife was on her phone at the same time me and she said the only 2 options on there were console + additional controller and console + additional + ps plus! No console only option that was at around 8:25am I ordered at 8:26 Console + Additional controller

Just rung DST and got my DPD tracking, she’s says Monday delivery, have a happy but surprised son now 🙂

Text from EE just arrived - also showing in the DPD app telling me they have the order details and expecting the parcel shortly.

Ordered console only with confirmation of order at 8:19 on launch day.

You shall receive it when you receive it. Although I hope EE check this forum and put all the whiners to the bottom of the list as punishment. 

As soon as that DPD notification hits my phone though, I shall all of a sudden come down with some unexplainable illness which means I can’t work for the next week or so🤒

I have checked that yes the order is placed and open sales means that your order is currently getting packed and getting ready to be dispatch, so in next few days you will get the tracking number text to your mobile, however, the deliver will be done by 15th December what dose this mean

@Gdownes i agree it should be first come first served, when I’m saying I haven’t heard, if you look earlier in the thread I said I’m a 10am order so rightfully I don’t think I’ll get mine first. However there are people here who ordered straight away still waiting so it looks like it’s random.

Got to laugh at all of the people who suddenly think EE are amazing because theirs has shipped. It's a disgrace that EE haven't done this fairly or in order of when customers placed the order. I'm genuinely pleased people have got theirs but have some respect for others who so far haven't been treated fairly or done in order date/time. It's unacceptable and I don't know of many companies that operate in this manner. I actually have a PS5 for my son and this one is purely for myself but I'm disgusted at how it's not been done fairly a lot of people.
