**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

EE are REALLY beginning to bug me now!!

 

I started off really impressed with them. The order process was flawless. No crashes, order went through. EE rep was great on the phone. 

 

Now they are really going down hill for me. With their increase in lack of communication for a start, not only with their customers, but with their staff also! They've f'd up big time I think, its coming across like they have anyways... 

 

Now how come you have majority of stores receiving stock and immediately despatching it?

 

They have 24 hours to really turn things around. I'm hoping that they have received stock and it will be despatched tomorrow.. If not they have some explaning to do! 

 

Edit: I also understand that they've said by the 15th. Which is fair enough. But they've mentioned that, just like every other store. They'll be receiving and despatching waves of stock. So it's clear SOME should receive some this week and next etc..

@Perry1710 I fail to see what more you can ask for. EE have clarified in writing in this thread when to expect the consoles. 

 

The only reason there is any confusion is because people keep calling advisors who don't know anything and putting them on the spot for answers they do not have.

 

If folk refrained from this behaviour, there would be no confusion.

Luckily now you have said that they will take note of the thousands of other phone calls they've had. You know, now that YOU have given them 24 hours.

 

Let us all know how that works out.

I wonder how many people watching this thread haven't even added a PS5 to their contract and just love the drama.

Not sure why people are complaining here. They said you’ll get it by 15th December. Just because other retailers are sending it out quicker, it’s not EE’s fault.

 

You should have ordered from those retailers then lol. EE have given you a date and you’re complaining because you haven’t received it almost 3 weeks before that... 

 

They also said they’ll update you when it’s out for delivery... how is that not enough? Do you want updates on every inch it moves? Bloody hell

@SB93 If only I could like this ten times...

@thefraggle79 Yeah, if they can give us an update, with some good news that they have received stock and are just prepping it for despatch... You know... Just like all other retailers have done... Then yeah they could turn things around and make some of us happy at least with a 1st wave delivery. 

@dearlyphoto some people don’t deserve an order imo - thanks to EE for even providing them in the first place 🥇
