**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions
You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Confirmation email at 08:19. No delivery updates and no money taken from bank yet either. Fingers crossed I hear today if they’ve received some stock!

let's hope, would be amazing. Although, their website did say "in stock" and when ordering they indicated the items would be dispatched within 1 day. So if they do have stock, we would be able to get it much sooner than Jan

From speaking with the adviser, it sounds like EE have some kind of partnership and direct relationship with Sony on this, so even if we are waiting till the next round of shipments, it should be a lot sooner than it otherwise would have been.

8:22 was my confirmation. Also no cancellation email (thankfully!)
I'm guessing batches would depend on how many systems are in each batch from Sony, so maybe 50-75 at a time

Got the “about your order” email at 8:17. Heard no more since. Taken around 20 screenshots of my xko order number to be safe. XD
Edit: after posting this, I got a community email about making my first post which caused my heart to skip thinking it was regarding the PS5.

This could be a game of Chinese whispers, but the representative told me that they request them from Sony in quantities.
So they should be able to turn around and say "We've sent out the first X-Thousand, but we need X-Thousand more"
Probably up to a certain limit (hence them being sold out now)

i ordered mine at 8:26am received my about your order email but received an out of stock email 4 hours later surely that's not first come first serve allocation

I'm not sure - I would suggest calling up EE and speaking to them directly.
If you've had a cancellation e-mail you wouldn't be on the first-come/first-served list, but why your order was cancelled I have no idea.
I ordered just after you (email @ 8:33am) and not had any cancellation through on this end.
