Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

 

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?


When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.



Am I eligible?


You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

 

 

Can I buy over the phone?


No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

 

 

How do I know my order has been successful?


When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.


You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

 

 

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?


Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

 

 

Will you be selling accessories or games?


Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

 

 

How will I find out about my delivery details?

 

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

 

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

 

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

 

 

What if I want to cancel my order?


If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Exact same boat, chased up dpd about an update as the email said delivery for today, they've said they still haven't received the package and left it all there...currently stuck in limbo as to who has it at the mo! 

I also live quite far out in Scotland, I ordered mine on the 3rd but decided to contact ee support to get a rough Idea of what was happening, the person told me that the had it packed and was getting sent to dpd for delivery and will be here by the 16th, so hopefully you will be getting yours at round the same time

How do you get through on online chat? No matter what topic I choose it says sorry they can’t help me 😞

Got notification yesterday PS5 would be delivered today.

took today off work unpaid because last minute 

it has only just updated that DPD finally has it and still I’m England - I live in Northern Ireland. 
went onto live chat to see why I’ve been told I’ve now lost out on a days pay for absolutely nothing and said why tell me it’ll be delivered and then it’s not.

They started jumping back and forward from agent typing to nothing and then TERMINATED THE CHAT without a response 

I find that strange, i was able to get through with no hassle

@Nickf807. @DT89 @ DPD told me it will be Monday we get them as EE only pay for the next working day delivery service l. My dpd app has also updated to delivery Monday so not much hopemwe will get them tomorrow. Mine was supposed to be today too

Yea I got told mine is picked and waiting for DPD to scan it. I was full bundle on the 3rd also. 

 

They suggested i should get tracking by tomorrow with delivery Sunday or Monday. If you have DPD tracking i wouldnt stress about it just turning up I have always found DPD to be great.

 

Its the fear when you dont have tracking that it might just appear!

@Stefano1990 i think alot of people got theirs at the weekend last week  so not sure if DPD just send it if the van is out your way anyway. 

Good luck to everyone.  I'm gonna leave this forum.. seems they are not happy with me contacting them multiple times.. 

 

I personally think someone has cancelled my order...

@Cwkcunny  oh did they yeah? Maybe a bit of hope it will come before Monday then but my app says this now. Not sure why the agent at dpd said with EE it isn't possible for next day then 😂
