**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Find out more about Add To Plan >

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

Are you excited about getting your hands on one?

I don't get why people are upset with the SIM only users, do you think I had time to go and read through the T&Cs when the stock was available?

The order was placed at 8:44 and the text I've received yesterday states that the console will be delivered before the 15th, shame it's with the extra controller.

I think if EE just give some sort of official update on this then that would calm a lot of people down, unfortunately a lot are still going to CS who aren't giving the correct information.

Just a side note. Why are people saying I have to be thankful? I’m paying the rrp for the product. Who exactly am I to be thankful to?? I don’t see EE giving me a reduction, they are not selling it any cheaper than a chain. So where does thankful come into it when I’m paying for something?

@Kory1 @I don’t get why people are getting upset at each other full stop. If there is any blame here it would all rest at EE’s end.

EE need a lesson in the English language they now don’t know what format come first Come first surfed also they now are saying by the 18th and by the order they processed them

@Kory1 I don’t think anyone is annoyed with sim only customers. If they are they shouldn’t be as it is the fault of EE not people who are just frantically trying to secure a console on launch day.

I think most people on here like myself are annoyed that others who placed orders after them are receiving their consoles today and the rest of us have still had no solid information since launch day.

Just wait till the 15th. It really shouldn't be an issue before the date they gave everyone. Great that some received theirs today

@GIVEMEPS5

I feel like I should have just got up a little later and took my time with the order maybe place it around 10am and I would have been better off.

Instead I was up at the crack of dawn refreshing there add to plan page. I fit all the criteria and yet people who are sim only and ordered after me jumped the queue.

I USED to have a very high opinion of EE now that's gone out the window. I have paid for 3 phone contracts a smart watch on 4g for years also had two tvs of them. After this I will not be purchasing anything else and will take my £150 a month elsewhere.

I have never known a communication company to have such poor communication skills. I feel genuinely shafted by EE.

If they are waiting on controllers then we could easily see dispatches happening at literally any point.

While I would love an official update, it's probably not going to happen.

I keep just reminding myself that the alternative is a 150k curry's queue or spending twice the rrp on ebay.

If anyone is that furious at EE, feel free to cancel your order and free up some controllers for the rest of us fools who selected the wrong bundle in a hurry.

I guess from ees point of view why would they give a further update when we have all been told by the 15th. Unless that changes they aren't really obliged to and they aren't obliged to tell us the ins and outs of their stock allocation processes either.

I'm as frustrated as the rest but they won't say anything unless it moves beyond the 15th
