Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

I'm getting really stressed now. My anxiety is through the roof. 

Ps5, extra controller and PS+ ONLY because that's what was available at the time. Don't even want the extras.

Desperate to get it before 13th Dec. 

Now people are getting cancellations. 😭

When was the second batch supposed to be coming? I can't be bothered going back through all those pages 😂😂 apparently im gonna get mine next batch but with peoples getting canceled an shizz I'm not very hopeful..

Ok so ..... Live chat apologised and told me to ignore the text they will bring that up with the advisor of faulting on his behalf of information. Phew but won’t hold my breath. She said defiantly before the 15th just waiting for dpd to receive my parcel. I gave her this tracking number a advise gave me last week cause it doesn’t come up with anything on dpd I asked the lady on the phone last time what does it say and it says your priceless will be with you soon. But didn’t say that for me. some sales women gave me it so I messaged it to live chat and said what’s this number then please ? She said that’s my order number not dpd. But the sales women basically lied. Hopefully hear something by the 15th 🙁

Stock availability depends on where you are. I live in South Wales and when I spoke to EE they said they are waiting for stock and they will notify me when its being delivered. Don't forget we have another 2 weeks until the 15th and everyone who got the PlayStation 5 through EE knows the Email says your PlayStation 5 will be delivered to you before the 15th.

I’ve asked her about people getting orders today subject to availability as soon as order is dispatched they are been delivered first come first basis subject to stock. I’ve had her life I think. But I will ask ask ask away until I feel happy with the advice now. Been passed around too many hoops

Second wave around  10th  dec .

now they have gifted all the console to the sim customers who ordered 3 hours later we just got to pray more stock comes into the uk .

it’s like queuing at game for hours  to buy a ps5 then getting to the counter and walking to the back of the que and getting the guy who’s two hours from the front and saying do you want place and take my ps5 , il come back next month .

I have been hearing that deliveries are every Thursday and my assumption is next Friday they will ship another batch (hopefully all leftover orders). 🤞

well know around the ps5 forums , games next  batch  of stock goes live for order on the  10th . Ee say by the 15tj as the next stock is due on the 10th .

scan have said  second wave is due around the 10th . Anyone with a bundle will not get it any time soon this is a fact .

the ps5 stock shipped yesterday was the first wave there all gone that’s why we advisors are saying your items oos when you ring as your ps5 has been given to the sim only gang because it was easy
