Have you ordered a PS5? Here's what to expect

You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.

Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.

 

 

The PS5 is showing as out of stock, what should I do?

When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.

Am I eligible?

You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).

Can I buy over the phone?

No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop

How do I know my order has been successful?

When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

You will also get an email about your order which will look like the below

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.

You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

When will my £10 upfront payment be taken?

Your payment will not be taken straight away, so no need to check your bank account. It will be taken when your PS5 order is being processed on your account.

Will you be selling accessories or games?

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.

How will I find out about my delivery details?

You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

DPD – our courier partner, will send you a text the day before your EE order arrives to confirm delivery for the following day. The message will also include options to change and track your parcel on DPD’s website.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please call us on 150 to do so.

This whole thing has been a shambles really. I didn’t even want the bundle! But the deal for just the console was greyed out when I ordered (around 8.50am 19/11) so just grabbed what I could and got a bundle. 

people who ordered over an hour after me managed to get the deal I wanted and now have their consoles on the way. 

You’d hope a company of the size of EE would be able to handle this so much better. Not a peep out of them for a week and CS reps have been left out to dry by the management, they’re just making stuff up as they go along to get people off the phone.

Anyway I hope those who have their consoles on the way are buzzing to play them and the rest of us will hopefully get ours soon...

Honestly - I'm just hoping that they didn't have time to pack the bundles today, and will be doing it over the weekend. They got shipped what they could, and will sort us out asap.

Probably me being over optimistic - but I don't believe they could have gotten thousands of consoles but somehow no controllers.

I think that’s the case and you’ll all hear something tomorrow (today even). It’s really unfair the way they have done it. I didn’t see the other bundles until after I ordered the console only at 9.45. I went back on at 10 and saw the bundles and was gutted I didn’t get one instead. Now I’m obviously happy I didn’t do a bundle. My DPD says delivery tomorrow and on its way to my local depo (Manchester) so I’ll hopefully receive a ps5 tomorrow and not a toaster or coffee machine 😂 Then I have the task of hiding it until Xmas day!

Suppose it is what it is, I didn't spot the regular console option, if I get it soon which I figure we hopefully will having paid the £10 and the monthly fee is setup, I'll be quite happy. I'll be working loads next week no doubt so it's not like I'll have much gaming time.

Feel really bad for anyone who got the bundle, I hope you all get answers soon. Surely they must be getting the controllers in soon, I don't think they have sold out anywhere! But I can understand the worry about not holding back the PS5s

I was going to suggest starting a new bundle specific thread (as well as posting in this one) but looks like someone has just done that. I think if that thread gets a few posts all related to the same topic you are more likely to get an answer from a staff member.

Could I ask kindly those who are getting there console today could they let us know when they receive it 🙂

im hopeful us bundle people will get ours soon as controllers have never gone out of stock so they can get them from anywhere and definitely wouldn’t take them long to receive the controllers but hey ho let’s prey
