**UPDATED** We've added some extra information to cover some more frequently asked questions
You can order accessories on Add To Plan, which lets you buy new kit, and spreads the cost across your monthly EE bills over the next 11 months. It doesn’t cost you any more – there are no fees and no interest, and it’s not just for pay monthly mobile plans either. 4GEE WiFi and tablet plan users can benefit too.
Find out more about Add To Plan >
Here’s some helpful information of what to expect if you ordered one.
When the PS5 is out of stock, you can register here to get notified when it is available to order again.
You are able to order if you are an existing EE customer within the first 17 months of your contract and are eligible to take Add to Plan (please note, not available at time of upgrade).
No, the PS5 is only available to buy online through the online shop
When you place your order online you will see an on-screen message like the one below with an xko number

If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted directly.
You will be kept up to date with your order by regular weekly messages, no need to call.

Yes, we are selling various packages of games, controllers and consoles.
You will get free Monday to Friday delivery as standard on all online orders and will receive a notification when it is out for delivery.

A further message will be sent on the day of delivery advising the 1 hour slot in which your delivery will be attempted, again this message will include options to change and track your parcel.

Well no, EE have technically mis-sold this.
They originally sold this on the basis of IN STOCK not awaiting for stock. Not stock is coming but we don't know when.
They then originally stated the £10 will be deducted when the PS5 has been shipped, they have now changed that to when the order is being processed 3 days after the money has already been taken and cleared from most peoples bank accounts.
They have also not given an explanation as to why this has changed, or offered any sort of apology for the mis-communication instead they have come on and ignored pretty much all comments.
I haven't called EE since Friday and don't plan too, I will wait but I can also see why people are getting annoyed at the way EE have handled the whole situation

@Profile closed I don’t know I’m even bothering responding given your comment regarding the iPhone 12. Yes, a phone so poor that again it was largely sold out everywhere after launch.
It is entitled, EE have said that we can expect the PS5 by mid-December. I was one of the first to order at 08:15 so I know what the page said. I expect EE will honour stock to customers based on their time of order and I’ve no reason to expect that the folk who were able to order won’t get it by 15th December, as advised at the start.

^ lets not forget they told SIM Only customers (by targeted advertising such as on myEE homepage) to buy it, let them put it through, confirmed it and then went "and I oop-"

@dannyttt2011 Last time I checked the EE community wasn’t for repeatedly asking EE to answer the same question over and over. The thread should be locked.

@GdownesExactly this. And just seen a message from someone saying people harrassing EE staff, what? who's done that? We know it's not their fault and no one should be harrassing anyone. But at same time they should know more than us. I think their silence says it all. EE have gone against their own T&C on this.

Sorry for all the questions mate but any chance you could let us know which package and what time you ordered?
Mine isn't showing on Add One but I have had the payment taken and an email acknowledging the order has been processed.
I got the console and extra controller at 8:30 exact Thursday

I totally understand the frustration of sim-only customers to be honest.
If they're not allowed to purchase one for some bizarre terms in one of many contracts at play here (you to EE, EE to Sony/Supplier), thats fine - but don't let them buy it from the website in the first place.
Then at least there is no mis-communication

@Britisheagle no worries 🙂 I ordered just the console disc version on its own. I ordered around 09:00. It might be they are doing certain bundles first, I dont know though. Just thought I would share, as it looks like steps in the right direction (for some at least). It might be nothing, and just another red flag, but you never know 🙂

Nope. EE said consoles would be delivered by mid-December. That position hasn’t changed to my knowledge. Therefore, you’ve nothing to complain about.
The sim-only folk, I can understand the disappointment but trying to say things like EE have went against their own terms or mis-sold is just flat out nonsense. It was a mistake. End of story.

@dearlyphoto of course people are going to ask questions as when everybody purchased the console it stated in stock for delivery within 1 day so nobody on here can be moaned at for asking questions
