Activating Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 6 month

Hi all!

I changed my broadband plan in December 2024 and received an email and text stating id receive 6 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

I've waited until now to activate it, but I see no option to activate it, only an option to join for £12.99! 

I've tried looking through the EE App and mobile website. I've received no code to activate anything.

Any ideas what I'm not seeing?

If this is being added to the bill, please get back in touch with our technical support guides to get this sorted and they can check if the Game Pass has been fully set up at our end for you.

 i only have this option. I accidently added the Game Pass for the additional £12.00 but cancelled shortly after.

I've put in my phone number and entered the PIN required when trying to redeem also, a technical error comes up when trying to proceed.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

If this is not showing in your EE account and you get an error when trying to activate, please call us on 150 and the team will get the Game Pass looked into for you.

I tried calling 150, got asked if I wanted to do the visual guide option, so I did.

I believe the agent has sorted it, they advised to wait 24 hours for it to be activated! 😊

So I thought I'd have a look in my EE account, just incase it's there, it was!

Followed instructions, said it would run out 17th in 6 months time. Went to Microsoft account, as instructed, was stating only 1 month of Ultimate and I've been charged again, £12 for it!

Seems like some wires are getting crossed somewhere down the line

Thanks for coming back to me. 

Could you try entering your number on the www.ee.co.uk/xbox page and signing into your Microsoft again when prompted, does this work for you?

Managed to the page and says there's nothing in my EE account to activate.

Says it will be added to my bill.

Ok, no problem, I'll keep an eye out!

In the past I've activated this offer with no problems, so I'm not sure what's changed to have so many people having similar issues.
