if you are having problems with the EE App, then I suggest you ring customer service by pressing option 2 and ask them to refresh your account, make sure that you have the latest app as well, as it works for most customers, this has been written about many times in the forum, and once EE refresh your account, you should be able to register again, you may also want to uninstall the app, reboot your device and download the app again.
If It is in during the evening or night that you are having problems logging into the app, then that is because that is when maintenance is done and should be able to log in again during the day.

There was some maintenance taking placed on the EE app last night, but you should be able to get into it now.
If you are having trouble still, give our tech guides a call as @Schockwave mentioned, and they can look into it further.

I can't see any current maintenance works (since last night) or issues with logging in. Tested on my device too, and can get in.
Could you try deleting then redownloading the app please?
Let me know if you're then able to get in.

Yep had to delete and reinstall the app before it worked.
