Hi, I've been with EE for around 8 years now after my partner at the time sorted me out with a SIM card and she then signed me up online.. but used her name when setting up the account. We split up shortly afterwards but I have forever been left with her name in my profile. Admittedly I have been able to change the "What should we call you" info but the main name still comes up as my Very Ex. 

 Anything I can do..other than get a new SIM and change my number?

@mjamesh  Is the account yours or hers ?   Who is the account holder ?

Hi Chris, thanks for the response.

The account is mine.. the payments have always come from my bank. 

My distant ex had initially wanted me on the same network and signed me up, to which I just went along.. as it saved me a job at the time.

I"d forgotten all about it until I reinstalled the app on a new phone. It was as much a shock to me as it was to my new partner (of several years) 😳

@mjamesh  Your going to have to call customer services about this as the account might be paid by you but it’s actually not your EE account it’s not in your name.   You’re not legally the account holder only the account holder can request a change of ownership.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and if it can't be sorted out I guess it'll be a new SIM and new number.
