Hello, I've discovered a bug when trying to complete setup for my Pixel Watch 4 LTE.
EDIT: I'VE FIXED THIS AS I WAS TYPING, BUT POSTING ANYWAY IN CASE ITS HELPFUL TO OTHERS. Scroll to bottom for fix.
The watch app and EE support prompts you to complete setup via the Watch app.
When I get to the step of logging into my EE account I am unable to do so because the Passkey thumb prompt does not appear on the screen (Pixel Pro 10). So I can't get past the login. No alternative login method is provided either (eg via text a code) - it's just spinning green EE dots forever and ever.
I can't remove the passkey prompt from my EE account because I'm forced to have at least one by EE.
The simple fix from an EE perspective would be to add an alternative sign in method (text a code) on the log in page... or for the passkey thumbprint prompt to actually appear, although I'm not sure if that's a bug I'm the Watch app itself rather than EE.
THE FIX:
When prompted for your email in the last photo, just enter anything you like, then it will prompt you for a password and you also have the option to re-edit your email to the correct one. Then it gives you the text a code option, which works.
If you enter your actual email first, it will prompt you for your passkey immediately and you'll be left with the green dots of doom.
