Edit: OK, it really was a short-lived glitch. The My EE app is now reporting the correct data allowance. I now return you to your normal programming....

The My EE app said that there were improvements being made over the past few days. Fair enough except that these improvements have led the My EE app to upgrade my account (I wish...).
It's up and running now except that it's claiming that I have unlimited data, which I don't.
Logging into myaccount.ee.co.uk on line I see the correct value of 100GB/month.
Anyone relying solely on the My EE app to see the status of their account could be misled...
