Canceling my ee

I’ve got an ee iPhone on a plan that I have been trying to cancel for 3 months but want to retain my number for six months whilst my company is going through receivership. Nobody calls me. I’m in Australia and won’t be returning. I do need to keep my number for compliance purposes. Has anyone got any suggestions?

@Yaaringiree : You could cancel the contract & have the no. moved to PAYG but you won't be able to use it at all, in or out, in Oz. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it unless you return to UK. Otherwise you can only keep paying for it.
