EE you are making this so DIFFICULT with this CONTENT LOCK.

I get its for kids safety. But **bleep** make it easier to do.

My details are RIGHT but all I'm served with is a error message.

So then i have to call you? This isn't a thing i should have to call you for.

I should be able to prove my age and unlock this.

1. WHY isn't it available on the app?
2. WHY do we have to call you?

Thanks

Oh and sort out your website, there are SO many bugs. Hire some CAPABLE coders. your a HUGE company with one website. sort it out.

@rossonzai  If it’s done via the my EE app what’s to stop a child from doing just that ?

Have you tried using THIS

if your getting an error message on using that then you can call customer services and with a credit and pay a refundable token to have it removed or you can go to a EE store with photo ID to have it removed.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi there @rossonzai

I'm very sorry to hear you have been unable to remove the content lock.

Has the link @Chris_B provided helped you get this removed?

Thanks.

Leanne.

Cheers for your replies guys. Sorry my message was a bit intense. Let’s make things better. Here are my issues.

1. Customer service number failed me whilst travelling abroad. Couldn’t get through to a rep the times I tried.
2. the content lock website where I enter my details just kept giving me error messages.

3. No EE stores around.

Got home and Went to Moorgate london yesterday excited to get it done after your guidance. They told me they can’t do it in store and I need to phone up and give my credit card details over the phone.

I joined the company. I’m let down by 150 I’m let down by website and I’m led down by the store with what I believe could be sorted by some forethought or just ‘things working’

so I’m still here with content lock

about to ring 150 so will report back.

Hold my passport to my face and take a photo clearly showing the match. That would be simple enough no?

credit card I get it but any kid can swipe their parents card and enter some details. Not that that works online anyway 😂

@rossonzai  The store can do this for you and I don’t know why you got told otherwise.   As for a kid can do this with their parents card sorry to say that’s the parents responsibility to make sure a child doesn’t do this with their card after all it’s called fraud. and that’s just passing the buck and not taking responsibility if an adult was to have this happen to them.

I’m having the same issue is there any way I can sort it out without having to ring you go guys or pop up at the branch

Hi @Mmjwavy1.

Are you on pay monthly or pay as you go?

Jon

Is that not a scam? Or is it a Genuine link?

I'd that link real and genuine?
