'BLOCKED'

When I go to ee.co.uk, I often get a white screen with just the word 'BLOCKED' in the top left hand corner.

This persists even after I've cleared cookies.  Any ideas?

I'm using Chrome on Windows, over Plusnet full fibre.

The damaged link is just user error in copy/paste.  I've still no idea why the EE web service should choose to block me.  Or why I consistently get an error message when I go to 'shop' --> 'broadband'.   And I can't see any easy way to report it to the appropriate technical team - indeed, trying to report it to the broadband team generates the 'ERROR' page!

Whatever! I just point these things for any one reading this in case they should click on it.

OK, I think I've made some progress in understanding the issue @Lesley_W

If I keep to the mobile section of the website - offers, bills, usage etc, then everything is fine.

If I do anything associated with broadband I get an error and my IP address blocked.  But only if I'm logged in.  Unfortunately, this includes trying to report the problem to the broadband team.  I wonder if the system is trying to look up my current broadband package and getting confused (I'm currently with plusnet fibre to the premises).   The only way to reliably reset is to reboot my broadband router and pick up a new IP address.

Very annoying.  But as I can't easily report it, I'll just leave this here in case anyone else faces the same issue.

I also get the 'BLOCKED' message.  The only way I've been able to clear it is to reboot my router, and get a new IP address.

Very clearly at the EE end.

Doesn't feel me with much confidence. I was thinking of joining EE Broadband but as per everyone else on here, I get blocked on Chrome, Safari, Duck Duck Go. I feel I would be better off with another provider instead.

My replies to a similar thread started by someone else have been moved here.  So if anyone reads through this and thinks I'm just having conversations with myself, that's why.

I can't believe this has going on for 6 months!

I am a new customer, trying to place a broadband order and I get "BLOCKED". I have tried this from different networks, different providers, browsers etc. It is very unreliable.

It also seems to be widespread issue, and there are hundreds of such reports. I am super nervous switching over! Too bad, I really wanted to get to 1.6 gigs.
