Scamguard

I have been making monthly payments for your service; however, I am still receiving calls from scammers. Moreover, due to a vulnerability in your system, my name and phone number were exposed. If scammers are still able to contact me, I would like to understand why I am continuing to pay for ScamGuard !!!!!

Hello @Esradinc ,

Welcome to the community,

You should see it saying possibly nuisance call when someone rings up, then just do not answer them.

Not sure why you think EE have exposed your name and number to scammers, they randomly dial a number, which unfortunately happens, if you do not answer them or hang up once you realise they are scammers, it should soon stop.

i have had nuisance calls and do not answer them if I have noticed they are nuisance calls, but I soon hang up when I realise it.

Not sure what you expect EE to do about it though.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi @Esradinc

As @shockwave said, When you receive a call that Scam Guard recognises as a nuisance or fraud, your device’s screen will show a “Likely Nuisance” or “Suspected Scam” warning. Scammers change tactics from minute to minute, so no solution can guarantee to prevent 100% of unwanted calls. Scam Guard is adaptive and self-learning, which means over time it’ll get better and better at determining whether a call is potentially spam or fraudulent.
Please visit Take control Of Your Security with Scam Guard for more information how to get the best out of the service.
