A friend of mine has been contacted and scammed by a Person impersonating or may be its his real name.

he contacted her on whatsapp using this ee number +44 7982 380961

he has been asking her to pay an amount of 70K INR to customs in India saying that he has sent her an Easter Gift.
When I tried calling this number it takes me to a voice mail. Definitely he is a fraud and a scammer.

it would be great if somehow we know who this contact number belongs to. Thank you in advance

  1. EE can't release the names of holders of phone nos. That would be a violation of Privacy laws as would you posting their name on a public forum.
  2. Report spam calls by filling the form @ https://www.bt.com/exp/help/contact-bt/form/scams
