Passkey for the Community Forum

I have a passkey (Face ID) set up on my EE app, but the community forum here requires me to login every 2 minutes - a right PITA.

There’s reference to setting up a passkey here via my Profile, but I can’t see anything in it.

So can I set up Passkey here, or not?

Hi @Minkey1

Yes, when it fails you get the option to connect your device (phone in my instance) and I can use the passkey store on my phone to log in. Much quicker.

Thanks

Cheers Northerner. Not sure I understand. Nothing fails when I login to the forum. iOS Passwords offers to fill in my email, then offers to fill in my PW. It all works, but the frequency of doing it is a pain in the arris. My EE app just does it with Face ID.

When I pause the PW entry here, and try Passkey, I see these. I just can’t seem to get it to work here as it does in the main EE app 🤷🏼

Think I’ve solved it. Whilst I log in with Face ID to the EE app, my profile there said I didn’t have Passkey set up there.

I set one up, and now it works here too. Result 👍

@Minkey1  Sometimes it doesn’t work and you end up with 2FA by email then a 2FA via a text.
