Digital Voice and Second Line

Hi

My mother 83 has recently moved over to EE and Digital Phone / fibre to the home.

If someone rings her and she answers the phone , Normally a Panasonic DECT  but she does have corded phones with Adaptors

Then someone else calls her she has to phone conversations at the same time and she just can not cope with this.
So need to find a way to turn off the 2nd phone line.

There is a BT post from 2022
https://community.bt.com/t5/Home-phone-including-Digital/Digital-Voice-amp-Voicemail-Second-Line/td-...

It seems that this might be able to be disabled but not sure it can be done from a Panasonic DECT phone or does she need some special phone / device to disable this feature

Thanks

@emjga This and all such features cannot be disabled by the user, you have to call EE CS and have the guide remove the function completely, it is the only way to do it.
