We have recently had our landline swapped to EE. We have a set of three cordless phones, one main unit that the other two link to. I have main one plugged into a BT digital voice adapter.
However I am regularly having to power off the adapter as we keep getting the engaged tone when we lift the phone to make a call. Even if we are getting the engaged tone and can't make a call we can get incoming calls.
Do we need to get a new digital voice adapter? Is what we are experiencing a sign the current one is on its last legs? Will EE provide us with a new one or do we need to buy one?
