1571 light alert

Since being switched to Digital Voice phone my 1571 green light on my Decor 2200 handset doesn't function. Any advice?

@bjackson43 What router do you have, and where is the phone connected too?

EE Hub router - and the 2200 handset is connected to the router.

@bjackson43 It is more than likely that the EE DV system does not support the ability to switch the light indication on with that older phone, did it work with the previous method of connection before you upgraded. I had the same phone for father on VM voicemail service, and the light never worked. Copy of the help details below, and you will have to call EE tech support to confirm your question. There is a tone change but you will see when you read the help link.
