hi. i’m not rly sure if i’m doing this right but im just wondering if anyone could tell me whether or not it is free to call 0300 numbers? i need to make a call to an 0300 number (the phone first service for ni hospitals specifically) and i want to know how much it will cost me, especially hearing there can often be long periods of being left on hold etc. i have a monthly contract (the £10 a month thing with unlimited calls, texts & data) but just want to double check whether it’s going to cost me to call. thanks:)

Numbers prefixed 03 are landline numbers, exactly the same as 01 & 02 prefixes.
If your plan includes calls to landlines, that means any number beginning 01, 02 or 03

Hi @ccapybaraa
Yes, as @bristolian said, it's classed as a normal landline and is included with any of our plans that give you a call allowance.

@ccapybaraa
0300 is not a "Freephone" number in the same way that 0800 is free, but you may be able to call the 0300 number without cost depending on your calling plan.
Like @bristolian has said- calling any number that starts 03, is the same cost as calling any number that starts 01 or 02.
So, to answer your question- if you can normally call numbers that start 01 and 02 (for example Manchester 0161 or London 0207) for free, then yes, you can call the 0300 number for free too.
