Resolved! My bill is in the minus numbers

I was on contract but recently went over to PAYG. I'm finding it really complicated to understand but my main question is that my bill is say - £57 odd. I paid my contract off though. What does it mean?

Keep old phone

I upgraded from the 13 Pro Max 256gb to the 14 Pro Max 256gb on the annual upgrade program through EE.Everyone who is on this plan is instructed to send their old phones back. Does anybody know the cost to keep the phone?
