What to do.

I have been with EE since the beginning, when it was Orange.

I have always been clobbered by the contracts and whilst some people move away from the monthly plans, I am not sure what to do.

I have a monthly plan which is costing £35.00

2 sim only's at £10.00 each

I need

1 upgrade with phone.

1 upgrade of the sim only to a phone.

and 1 sim card which I can probably leave as is.

I have paid thousands over the years and rarely manage to get a good deal.   What is the best way forward?  Any suggestions. Thank you.

Hi @LikedAlpaca

You need to decide if you need a new phone every year as this will add a big cost with rarely any benefit as most handsets only tweak their new versions. I personally upgrade every two years and go direct to the manufacturer over the carrier which gives more flexibility.

The monthly costs you quote are low tbh but you haven't said what tariff you're on (entitlements/benefits). SIM only tends to be your best option as you can find some deals and extra benefits to save costs elsewhere such as TV/sports.

I would also check ukhotdeals, your bank etc for codes and links to cheaper plans.

Lastly you could and should speak to EE CS on 150 about what they can do.

Thanks
