Upgrading but keeping my phone

Hello,

My contract expires in 3 weeks and i have just received a text message from EE giving me 3 options. They are,

1. My plan being upgraded with a new monthly charge (sit back and relax)

2. Upgrade or change my plan

3. Switch to another provider

My current contract expires on 28th Nov however Black Friday is on 29th Nov so i would like to take advantage of the deals and choose one of them. However, as my contract expires before Black Friday, does it mean i would only be able to follow option 1. listed above or letting it end and getting a brand new contract?

I would like to keep my this phone so which option would be the best based on me wanting to keep my phone and take advantage of the Black Friday deals?

Do the Black Friday deals start earlier then the 29th Nov?

Thank you.

@YusufHu  only your minimum term expires you will not be cut off if you upgrade the following day.    At the minimum term the contract changes to a 30 day rolling contract until you decide to change.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Chris_B ,

Thanks for the reply.

So i can just upgrade during black friday (day after minimum contract ends) and then upgrade as normal? Any ideas when the black friday sales start for EE as sometimes they start a few days early.

Kind regards,

Yusuf.

Just found out the Black Friday deals start on 25th November which helps my situation.

Hi @YusufHu

Just on the back of @Chris_B's advice, yes you can still upgrade any time after your minimum contract expires.
