Why did they say to me if I get a sim only for 3 month I can have a handset upgrade 6 months later still not aloud an upgrade why is that

I got offered a sim only anc they said if I take the sim only they will upgrade me to a handset after 3 months but 6 months later still can’t upgrade why did they lie to me

@Thetileguysltd   Have you ever been late with a payment?    And is that a 12 or 24 month sim only?
