Upgrade v New Line

I’m currently due an upgrade but I’m finding the upgrade costs just now are a bit ridiculous,  it’s actually significantly cheaper to add a new line to my account where I can get the same phone/contract for around £15 cheaper a month, seems like such a backwards way to be able to get the best deal possible

@Alana85  that’s because it’s an additional line on your account and you get a discount for every additional line on your account.    if you do decide to go this route and then you remove your main line from your account any discount that you got for the additional line will be removed.

I have multiple lines on the account so it shouldn’t remove the discount

@Alana85  It'll remove it from one of them as that will become the main line on the account.    You will always have a main line any additional lines get the discount.

It’s not the main line I’d be scrapping, had that one for 17 years
