Why when I am looking to upgrade there is silly upfront costs? Like the Pixel Fold it's asking for £650.00

@DCoates1 Because it’s a device on credit and perhaps EE are not going to cover you for that amount of credit.
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Where are you looking, https://ee.co.uk or https://store.ee.co.uk ? It would seem the latter EE Store which is for the general public & where you pay in 3 instalments. Whereas the former official EE Shop sells contracts with much smaller upfront payments.
