Trying to upgrade my sim only to essential plan but cannot find it.

My plan has runout and doubled in price. I went to upgrade but all I'm being offered is plans starting at £42 when I saw one for £10 but now it has disappeared.

I barely use my pphone and don't need unlimited everything. I just need the basics but apparently they don't offer that anymore.

I've been with this company for almost 20 years with the same phone number. Started as orange then mobile now ee. All I want is a basic package but I cannot find one.

I detest phoning and would rather do it all online or by email.

HELP!

Hi @Gingersnap

When you go to the upgrade page is there a "view all" option. That will show you all the SIM only deals not just EE recommendations.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

When I go into sim only, the only options is get are the recommended and unlimited, there isn't a view all option.

All the sim plans are over £40. I don't need unlimited and expensive plans. I don't leave my house so I use my WiFi all the time.

Phoning isn't an option for me either, I have crippling anxiety and have panic attacks when I am forced to speak over the phone.

I really need help with this.

Hi @Gingersnap

Thanks for coming here.

Did you see the £10 SIM when logged in to your EE account or was this whilst browsing the website logged out?

Do you see the option to select 'Fixed Data' rather than Unlimited?

Like you have been orange and EE client since Orange launched. Depends how much you use your mobile phone. Sim only call rates can be very high but if like me you use it for essential "emergency" calls only outdoors and via broadband when at home using wi-fi calling they can be a good deal. I moved to a £5 sim only with 3 (35p/min) as you only need to make 1 call in about 3 months to keep the account open. Bill last year was £20. Also picked up refurbished iPhone 5i for £90 from IJT as a pensioner there is no point in upgrading to latest models.
