Sim only pan

I have recently upgraded to a SIM only plan. I paid off my flex plan balance early beforehand and switched to a SIM only contract. When this was completed I was told my new plan won't activate until September which is when my original plan ends but a guide in store told me it was activated the day I upgraded and that I'll get refunded on 2nd March for my old bill. Was the ee guide in store right? If not, can I still buy a sim free phone and transfer my Esim to the new phone even if my new plan may not activate yet? I hope this all makes sense!

Is your airtime plan out of its minimum-term? If so, you should be able to change to another SIM-only plan anytime.

If not, you need to see that minimum-term out before changing.

You may well need to request this change via CS if the online self-service methods don't play nicely.

@Kayleyjx  You can use any phone you choose.    When you say you’ve paid off the flex plan do you mean the airtime or the device part of the tariff or both ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I have paid off the device plan 😊
