Sim only Plan Early Termination`

Hello there,

Can someone guide me about early termination of Sim only plan, I just bought a 24 months Sim only plan in August 2022 and went abroad and returned after 42 days, now I realize I don't need such an expensive connection (comparatively), so I just want to know if I move to any less expensive plan to any other network, what will be the procedure and will EE charge any ETF.

Regards

@ewanrw : My 20% reduction is your last but 1 step (£440). Penalty charges are not subject to VAT since no supply has been made to the payer.

The rules changed in January 2021, and they’re now subject to vat.

I suggest you look at this link…

@ewanrw : If that were the case the subtraction & subsequent addition of VAT is pointless. £550 less 4% = £528. Talk about making maths hard to follow!

I don’t make the rules my man.

4% on ex. VAT, not 20% on inc. VAT that you’ve incorrectly quoted for the last 18 months.

Guys, that means leaving the contract will cost me around 500 to 550,  don't you think without providing services the cost is too much.

@ewanrw : I stand corrected! ETF's are now (since 1 April 2022) subject to VAT.
