Sim only Plan Early Termination`

Hello there,

Can someone guide me about early termination of Sim only plan, I just bought a 24 months Sim only plan in August 2022 and went abroad and returned after 42 days, now I realize I don't need such an expensive connection (comparatively), so I just want to know if I move to any less expensive plan to any other network, what will be the procedure and will EE charge any ETF.

Regards

If you intend to move to another network, either taking your existing no. with you or not, get your PAC or STAC respectively from EE & give it to your new provider. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 20%.

Thanks for a quick reply.

I have been watching the community and found you the most informative and quick responder to people to help them, I am not confirmed about my min terms, van you guide me for that. The formula you have given me it would cost me a lot.

It’s a 4% reduction on the ex Vat price for early termination. They then add the Vat.

So as per calculation my left months are 22 x 25 -20% = 440, is that correct.

Divide current bill by 1.2. Times that figure by 0.96. Then multiply that figure by 1.2. Then multiply by months left x 1.2.

20% reduction claim is nonsense.

I couldn't understand the calculation!

My plan rent is 25, months left are 22 that means if I keep the plan I have to pay 550 in next 22 months.

What if I leave 22 months ago?

£25/1.2 = £20.83

0.96x20.83 = £20.00

£20.00 x months left = £440

£440 x 1.2 = £528
