Sim “contract”

I was out of contract and explained in the ee shop that I was looking for a short term sim with a high data usage allowance as an experiment. He didn’t point out to me that I was signing a 24 month sim contract ( which wasn’t particularly cheap, even), and I’ve only just discovered this. Have they got me over a barrel or can I claim misleading sales tactics?

@Droshky   The lowest contract term is a 30 day rolling contract and if you wanted a large data amount that would be around the £30 mark for 125Gb of data .   You should have been told it was a 24 month contract it would have even said this on the agreement that you signed.    You could try going back to the store and state you wasn’t told it’s 24 month contract.
