Recover an old phone

Hi

I changed my number on monthly sim just over 90 days ago. However I need to recover that number either on another plan or sim as many sign ins on apps  used that old number for verifications and I can’t gain access to them now .

I did call ee and  they said the number would be reallocated . I called the number and it’s not in use .
is there anyway I can recover that number . I will pay what I need to .

thanks

When you change a mobile number, your old number is recycled and CS have correctly advised that it will now be in a quarantine pool for long-term recycling.

It's not an issue of cost, but of process. It's no longer your number.

Hi thanks for your reply. In other posts i hVe read you have 6 months to retrieve a number ?

I am literally over 90 days  by like a week

Whatever internal timescale EE might use for quarantine before recycling, doesn't apply to end users who have disconnected a number.

The number ceased being yours when you changed numbers.

Sounds like you've been reading about PAYG nos.

Are you saying that you changed your no. from contract to PAYG over 90 days ago? If so & you haven't used it since then you've lost that no. completely.
