Re: Charge twice for upfront cost

I have a similar issue, I called 150 but the person was not able to see that I had paid the phone cost. But they did appreciate that I would not have received the new phone if I had not paid for it. They suggested I wait until the DD is taken on the 21st March and check then. This is unacceptable.

Hi @Flers

Thanks for coming to the community and letting us know.

Does the payment show with your banking?

Katie 🙂

Hi Katie,

The payment for the phone is showing on my credit card bill.
The EE direct debit is due on 21st March.

As "Pending" or not?

If the upfront cost has been taken from your credit card upfront, as it should be, there is no reason for it to be also included in your next DD which will only include your ongoing monthly fees.
