I have a sim only contract now and previously a sim and phone contract. This has now ended and the payment stayed the same even though the phone was fully paid for !
How can I check how far back I have been overpaying as I feel I am due a refund of this money.
Thankyou

EE's traditional contracts have no concept of separating device & airtime, not or paying anything off. You have one single monthly payment covering all your services, which you agreed to pay on an ongoing basis but at least for the duration of your minimum term.
Users should receive a text message from EE towards the end of your minimum term outlining various options, one of which includes moving to SIM-only. But ultimately the choice needs to be the account holder, and if nothing is requested, nothing will change - and your plan will continue on the exact same basis. Thus contractually, no refund will be due.
Edited to clarify that you mention having a SIM-only plan - if so, then as a matter of course, there is no phone involved.
EE have since introduced FlexPay plans, where you have two separate contracts, each with their own payments. You have a fixed-term finance loan for your phone, which will naturally stop when you have fully repaid. Then an airtime plan for your usage, which has a minimum-term but otherwise continues.

@Janer , when did you finish paying for your phone plan? This is why we now have flex pay for devices and separate sim plans, so that when the device is payed off, payments for the device stop and no more payments. Just have a look when you took out your plan and see when it finished, not sure you will get a refund, but I would speak to customer services and see what they have to say.
