Hi,
Ive just checked my phone plan and I pay for 5g but I never get 5g as my phone is quite old.
Would you possibly be able to take this off and decrease the monthly price as I don’t use it?
I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Amy Pope

You don't pay any extra for 5G. All EE SIMs will work on whichever 'G' is compatible with your phone & with the signal in the vicinity.
Which phone have you?

Out of interest, what makes you think you pay separately for 5G? As per the previous reply, there has never been a separate charge, and EE's T&Cs specifically allow for access to whichever radio technologies are available.

No, but in the past there were 4G SIM plans & 5G SIM plans priced differently.

Indeed so, but my point to the user is that there has never been a separate itemised charge - hence my curiousity as to what makes them think they are being charged specifically for 5G access.

@bristolian : OP never mentioned 'itemised'. I believe OP just means 5G is 1 of the features of her plan.
