Can I pay the remainder of my bill which I am dew upgrade in January started on SIM only got to wait untill Jan but my phone broke

@Ogybogy No your payments are until the minimum term. You can not freeze your payments because your device is broken.
If you call customer services they might be able to help you upgrade early.
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
