I just paid my phone bill with Apple Pay, the money has been taken but it’s still showing as not being paid?

I will be leaving EE when my matter is resolved for this very reason, 

take the money from my bank then not allowing me to use my phone and have to wait atleast 24hr to see if it will be processed

Why don’t they tell u this before allowing you to process the payment, I would have just paid on my card if I had known!!!
