I requested my PAC code (more to see if it worked than anything else) and now EE have removed all my upgrade options. Is this a normal thing to happen or just bad timing when soemthing has gone wrong with the website?

Welcome to the Community!

You won't be able to upgrade while you have an active PAC, which is why your upgrade options will have disappeared, but if you give us a call then the team can remove the PAC, and either complete your upgrade, or make sure you can upgrade without any further issues.
